Important Notice – Business Rates 

The Government has announced it will provide funding to support businesses that are forced to close during the national lockdown that comes into effect on 5 November 2020. We are waiting for the guidance on how this support will be delivered and we will publish further details as soon as they become available so please keep checking our business rate page for updates. 

Telephone Opening Hours

The Revenues & Benefits service telephone opening hours are 10am – 2pm (Monday to Friday) so that colleagues can focus outside of these hours on customers who have contacted us by email.

We are committed to providing all our customers with the support they need during this time, and so we are allocating our resource to enable us to respond to everyone as quickly as possible.

Council Tax, Benefits, Business Rates and Coronavirus

We would encourage anybody with a query or who is experiencing financial hardship to visit www.gov.uk website which has information on alternative income such as Universal Credit. Any resident who needs advice or assistance can also contact the Revenues and Benefits Service by email to:
